Percy Robert Miller (born April 29, 1970), better known by his stage
name Master P, is an American entertainer and entrepreneur. He is
the founder and CEO of P. Miller Enterprises, an entertainment and
financial conglomerate and Better Black Television. He is also the
founder of No Limit Records, which was relaunched through Priority
Records after the label went bankrupt.
Miller in the start of his Music career made a name for himself
with his debut album Get Away Clean released in March 10, 1991. Then
Just a year later Miller released his second album Mama's Bad Boy.
In 1992 Master P also released his first collaboration with the start
of pioneer group TRU entitled Understanding the Criminal Mind. Also
in 1993 TRU released his second collaboration album went paltiniumWho's
da Killer?.
[edit] 1993-96: Ice Cream Man, The Ghettos Tryin to Kill Me! & 99
Ways to Die
Just after a year P. Miller released his 3rd album The Ghettos Tryin
to Kill Me! it was released in March 1994 then rereleased back in
1997. On February 7, 1995 Miller released his fourth album 99 Ways
to Die. Also In 1995 Master P & TRU released their third collaboration
True. On April 16, 1996 P. Miller released his fifth album Ice Cream
Man. This was Master P's first album to achieve platinum certification.
It also contained his hit single from the album "Mr. Ice Cream
Man".

Face
In 1999 Master P & TRU released their fifth album Da Crime Family.
On October 26, 1999 P. Miller released his eighth album Only God
Can Judge Me which contained his single "Step To Dis".
Then a year later on November 28, 2000 he released his ninth studio
album Ghetto Postage which contained his hit singles "Bout Dat" & "Souljas".
Also in 2000 Master P & his new group 504 Boyz released their
album Goodfellas was a huge success peaking at #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop
Albums containing their hit single "Wobble Wobble". On
December 18, 2001 P. Miller released his tenth studio album Game
Face it contained the singles "Ooohhwee" & "Rock
It".
[edit] 2002-09: Good Side, Bad Side, Ghetto Bill & Certified
D-Boy
In 2002 Master P's group 504 Boyz released their second album Ballers
P. Miller released his eleventh album on March 23, 2004 entitled
Good Side, Bad Side it was charted number 1 on the Independent Billboards.
Also in 2004 Master P & TRU released their last album The Truth.
Then in 2005 P. Miller released two albums Ghetto Bill & Living
Legend: Certified D-Boy. Master P & 504 Boyz released their last
album for the victims of New Orleans of Hurricane Katrina the album
was entitled Hurricane Katrina: We Gon Bounce Back. In 2007 Miller
released a collaboration album with his son Romeo Miller titled Hip
Hop History it sold 32,000 records worldwide.In 2009 P. Miller did
Production for Romeo's Get Low LP.

In 2010 It was confirmed by producer Drumma Boy that Master P was
back In the studio with his managing artist Gucci Mane. Drumma Boy
said "I just did a joint with Gucci Mane and Master P. Master
P was in the studio one day because him and Gucci are doing a couple
projects together right now. I had to talk P into getting onto the
microphone, but I made it happen. It's a new verse featured on one
of Gucci's joints. I think it's going to end up on the Brick Squad
album."[1] It Is Also confirmed that Master P is going on a
new tour with his brother Silkk the Shocker & son Romeo Miller
the tour is entitled ”No Limit Forever International".[2]

Miller has produced eight films, written and directed six, and starred
in over a dozen including major studio releases such as Gone in 60
Seconds (alongside Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie), Dark Blue with
Kurt Russell and starred opposite Harrison Ford in the police comedy
Hollywood Homicide (2003). Miller's filmography also includes Uncle
P (New Line), Uncle Willy's Family, Soccer Mom, Repos, Lockdown,
Black Supaman, Down and Distance, Toxic, and The Pig People (currently
in production.)[1] Miller also manages the music, film and television
career of his son, teen rap star Lil Romeo and pop star Forrest Lipton.
Miller recently teamed up with his son Romeo to develop a children's
cartoon, titled Gee Gee The Giraffe. The show is true to the duo's
mission to produce positive, educational and entertaining content
for African-American children. Animation has been employed by the
Millers on prior occasions such as their February 2008 cartoon version
of their music video for the song "Black History."[2]
Miller has also made history as the first hip-hop entrepreneur to
own a cable television network, Better Black Television, (BBTV) whose
aim is to promote positive messages and content to the African American
culture. The network was launched in 2009. Executives include Denzel
Washington, Derek Anderson of the Charlotte Bobcats, DJ Kool Herc
and Bo Derek.
Miller was also in WCW in 1999 supporting the feud between Rey Mysterio
Jr. and Konnan who were known as No Limit Soldiers to take on Curt
Hennig and Bobby Duncum Jr. who were known as The West Texas Rednecks.
[edit] Businessman and entrepreneur
As founder and CEO of No Limit Entertainment, Miller at one time
presided over a business empire that included No Limit Records, Bout
It Inc., No Limit Clothing, No Limit Films, No Limit Sports Management,
P. M. Properties and Advantage Travel. Miller ranked 10th on Forbes
magazine's 1998 list of America's 40 highest paid entertainers with
an estimated income of $56.5 million.[3] Miller represented Miami
Dolphins running back Ricky Williams when he was drafted by the New
Orleans Saints. Williams' rookie deal has been used in law schools
and business schools as a model for bad contracts.[3]
Miller’s brand continues to evolve through his new Take A
Stand Records label. The initiative is the only recording label committed
to signing and promoting hip-hop artists with responsible image and
lyrics. He’s also dedicated his time to communities through
P. Miller Youth Centers[4] and his P. Miller Food Foundation for
the Homeless[5] and his new speaking program on financial literacy.
Additionally, Miller was recently appointed the new Youth Ambassador
for the NAACP, a position previously held by former president Bill
Clinton.[6]
Miller is also a published author with his book Guaranteed Success
When You Never Give Up (2007 Kensington Publishing Corporation.)
The book was promoted via a nationwide signing and speaking tour
on financial literacy with The Learning Annex and alongside the likes
of Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, Earvin "Magic" Johnson,
and Bo Derek.[7]

On July 28, 2007, Willie W. Werenton, the mayor of Memphis, Tennessee
presented Miller with the key to the city.[8]
In time for the 2009 holiday season, Miller had launched a new partnership
with OneMillionGifts.org in an attempt to feed and clothe one million
African-American people to "help prevent a lot of those in need
from committing crimes like raping and stealing these holidays".[9]

Miller had a contract with NBA teams twice - with the Charlotte
Hornets during the 1998/99 season and the Toronto Raptors in 1999
pre-season.[10][11] He also played in the Continental Basketball
Association (CBA) for the Fort Wayne Fury. In 2004, he played for
the ABA's Las Vegas Rattlers. He joined the 2008 McDonald's NBA All-Star
Celebrity Game and scored 17 points in total, hitting two crucial
free throws at the end to win the game.[12]
