Junior Allen : 35 years in jail for stealing a TV

Junior Allen was released on May 27 2005 after spending 35 years in jail.
He was 30 when he entered, 65 at his exit.
(The least we can say is that this TV, estimated at $140, cost him a lot)

Junior Allen, 63, was jailed since 1970 for stealing a black and white TV set.
He was refused liberation on parole 26 times after spending more than 26 years in jail.
It is claimed that the reasons are 62 infractions that Allen committed in prison.
