In 1998, three Mozambicans immigrants where taken from their cells and subjected to intense brutality in the hands of Robert Henzen (32), Eugene Truter (28), Jacobus Smith (31) and Lodewyk Kock (32). Two other officers involved pleaded not guilty.

The court heard that the tape was screened at police parties as entertainment.
