D-SideInvisible
The band was originally made up of five members, Ryan O'Rian, Shane Creevey,
Derek Ryan, Damien Bowe and Dane Guiden, but became a threesome,
however, when Bowe and Guiden both left for personal reasons. They
have had three Top 10 singles in the UK, and have supported Blue,
Westlife and numerous other bands on tour during 2003 and 2004,
as well as being involved in Charity events such as Soccer Magic,
Soccer 6, Children in Need and ChildLine. In 2006 D-Side took part
in international contest "New wave" in Urmala. Over the past few years they have been successful in Japan where
their single "Invisible" which was produced by Desmond Child reached number one. They have released two
studio albums there, with a third currently being worked on. They
are signed to the Japanese record label, Avex, managed by MadDog
Management, and went on tour at the end of 2005. Stronger Together was the title of the first album.
The album was released in 2003 by Polydor Records UK. The album
was a hit in many countries, including the UK, Ireland, Germany,
France, China and Japan. The album reached the Top 10 in those
six countries. The album contained five singles. The first single
was titled as "Stronger Together", and it was only released in Ireland, reaching #2. The second single was "Speechless", released in all the countries, and got some success in Europe and Asia. The
single reached the Top 10 in UK Singles Chart (#9), and in Japan.
In the other countries, it reached the Top 40. The third single
was "Invisible", released in late 2003, and reached #7 in the UK. The single was also a hit
in Europe and Asia, reaching #1 in Japan, and the Top 5 in other
countries, such as China, Ireland and France. The single was later
covered by Clay Aiken. The fourth single, "Real World", was released in February 2004. The single was #1 in Ireland and Japan, and
reached the Top 10 in UK (#9), France and China. The fifth and
final single was "Pushin' Me Out", released in April 2004. In the Japan Charts it reached #7, but was less successful
in other countries, reaching only #21 in the UK. Gravity was the second album from the band and
released by Avex/Polydor. The group had become a trio by this time.
The album peaked at #2 in Japan. The album generated less interest
outside the UK, only reaching #20 in Ireland. Elsewhere, the album
reached the Top 40 in France and Germany, although in China the
album charted at #10. The album contained three singles, but only
one was released in the Europe. The single missed the Top 40 in
France and Germany, and in China peaked at #27. In Japan the track
was a hit, reaching #1. The next single was "Sacrifice", a pop-ballad which was only released in Japan and China. The single was a duet
with Antony Costa. The single reached #1 in both the Chinese and
Japanese Singles Charts. The third and final single, "Who Wants The World", was only released in Japan, where it peaked at #2. Unbroken was released on
28 October 2006. "No One" was an unreleased track written by Bryan Adams.[1] January 2004 - Stronger Together (#62 UK, #1 Japan) "Invisible" Japanese Bonus Tracks 2005 - Gravity (#16 Japan) "Sacrifice" (Featuring
