Amadou Diallo : shot 41 times by the police

His family finally received compensation, but no justice in sight…

Amadou Diallo’s family received 3 million dollars following a lawsuit against the New York police for his murder on February 4 1999.
That night, 4 police officers shot 41 times at Diallo, 19 bullets reached him.
Amadou, 22 at the time, was taking out his wallet when he was executed.
